Blogdrive Account Disabled?

posted under by yannie | Edit This
I was feeling nostalgic and needed a good jolt, so I checked out our old blog. ...only to find out that it's been disabled!?!?

Here's the note that appears in the makeshift redirect page:

This page has been disabled.

This is probably due to a breech in our terms of service agreement. If you are the Blog registrant, please contact Blogdrive Support for assistance.

I, of course, did not read the Terms of Service when I created that blog. Nor had I any intention to. But seeing that I had no choice, I scanned all that legalese for some semblance of clarity. I'm not sure, but I think we may have violated the following:

You agree to NOT use the Service to:
...14. Use Blogdrive as a forwarding service to another website;

Remember that I recently posted a brief note to tell others that we've moved to blogger? Oh, well. Tupid me.

I already contacted blogdrive, but I have yet to hear back from them. Here's the email that I sent last October 5th:

Our blog, swirlingvortex.blogdrive.com, has been disabled. May I know why? And is there a way to fix this?

If I violated your terms of service in any way, I sincerely apologize. I'm one of those clueless people who never read the TOS. Again, I'm sorry. And I'd be happy to undo whatever it is that I've done.

Since I can still access the back-end, I'll be transferring some of our memorable posts here. Just in case the blogdrive thingie falls over the roof.

(And on that note, I must say that Blogdrive is way behind the times. We now live in a semantic-rich blogosphere, and they badly need to keep up.)
